SHOULD I BE ABLE TO SWIM?
You should feel comfortable and confident treading water wearing a personal floatation device (PFD, life jacket).

WHAT IF I CAN'T GET UP?
We pride ourselves on being able to get almost everyone up. Our trained staff will do our best to get you up and having fun.

HOW MANY HOURS SHOULD I BOOK?
We recommend 2-3 people per hour.

WHAT IF A SLOT IS UNAVAILABLE?
Shoot us an email or give us a call. Not guaranteed.

CAN I RENT A BOAT WITHOUT A CAPTAIN?
No, the boat comes with a captain and instructor to provide the most fun and safe day on the water possible.

CAN I BRING FOOD OR DRINKS?
Only water on board.

cancelation policy

At Simcoe Wake Sports, we understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness to all guests and allow us to manage vessel availability, the following cancellation and refund policy applies to all rentals, lessons, tours, and bookings.

Customer Cancellations

More than 48 Hours Before Scheduled Booking

  • Guests may cancel their booking and receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

 

24 to 48 Hours Before Scheduled Booking

  • A cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total booking value will apply.

  • The remaining 50% of the booking value will be refunded.

 

Less than 24 Hours Before Scheduled Booking

  • No refunds will be issued.

  • 100% of the booking value will be charged and retained by Simcoe Wake Sports.

 

No-Shows

  • Guests who fail to arrive for their scheduled booking without prior notice will forfeit 100% of the booking value.

  • No refund or credit will be provided.

 

 

Weather-Related Cancellations

The safety of our guests and staff is our highest priority.

If Simcoe Wake Sports determines that weather or water conditions are unsafe for operation, including but not limited to:

  • Lightning or thunderstorms

  • High winds

  • Excessive wave conditions

  • Poor visibility

  • Severe weather warnings

 

Guests will be offered one of the following options:

  1. Reschedule their booking to another available date and time; or

  2. Receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

Weather-related cancellations initiated by Simcoe Wake Sports will not be subject to any cancellation fees.

 

 

Early Return Due to Severe Weather

If a rental or activity has already commenced and Simcoe Wake Sports recalls vessels due to severe weather or unsafe conditions:

  • Guests will only be charged for the time actually used on the water.

  • Any unused rental time will be refunded or credited at the discretion of Simcoe Wake Sports.

  • Fuel charges and any applicable fees may still apply.

 

 

Mechanical Issues

If a rental is interrupted due to mechanical failure or equipment malfunction caused by no fault of the guest:

  • Simcoe Wake Sports may provide a replacement vessel where available.

  • If a replacement vessel is unavailable, guests will receive a prorated refund based on unused rental time.

 

 

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used for booking.

Please allow up to 10 business days for refunds to appear on your account, depending on your financial institution.

 

 

Management Discretion

Simcoe Wake Sports reserves the right to review exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis. All decisions regarding refunds, credits, and rescheduling are made at the sole discretion of management.

By completing a booking, guests acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation and Refund Policy.
